of Jupiter, FL passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Val has been a Jupiter resident for the past 17 years, coming from Stamford, CT. She was a successful Vice President of Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Val was also a very proud member of the National Democratic Party. Val enjoyed the Florida beaches, but most of all she enjoyed her family. Val was preceded in death by her father Harry and mother Esther and her two dearly beloved brothers, Melvin and Clifford.
Survivors include her three adored daughters, Michele (John) Smith of Ponte Vedra, FL, Robin (Tom) Potter of Wheatland, Iowa and Heather (John) Naylor of Jupiter, FL; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and her one sister, Ruth.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated 6 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, Jupiter, FL. A visitation will be held from 4 PM until service time at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in loving memory of Val Crum.
