Age 81, of Jupiter, FL passed away peacefully at Jupiter Medical Center under the care of Hospice. Norman was born on June 9, 1931 in Tampa, FL and later moved to the Jupiter area in the 60's. Norman was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was the owner of Norman Burg Construction, Corp. and responsible for building many homes, high rises, professional and industrial buildings in Palm Beach County. After his retirement in the 80's Norman was able to do what he loved, golf, fish and hunt, but most all of spend time with his adored family.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Bobbie; children, Norman "Sonny" (Sue) Burg, III and Anita Burg ; four grandchildren, Sam Burg, Lindsay Heitzler, Michael "Blake" Heitzler, Josh Burns and Charles Pursley; one brother Clifford Burg; and one sister Linda Newton.
A visitation will be held from 10 AM – 2 PM, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter, FL. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 PM following the visitation. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or to The Disabled Veterans.
