Fragomeli, Vincent, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, January 31st, a former resident of Stamford, CT before moving to Little Club, Tequesta, FL. Born on July 17, 1935 to Vincent and Marie (Clark) Fragomeli.
Graduate of Stamford High School Class of 1953, where he played baseball, football, and was a member of the band and orchestra. He met and married his high school sweetheart Dolina MacLeod.
He served in the US Army and was a member of the 6th Army Band playing trumpet and french horn. He was a member of the Westchester Carpenters Local Union 53 for over 50 years.
He loved coaching at Northrup Little League, golfing, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife of almost 60 years, his children Darcy Fragomeli, Jay (Julie) Fragomeli, Linda (Ed) Gibson, five grandchildren Samantha, Edward Gibson, Isabella, Olivia Fragomeli and Jack Gibson. His sisters Cecelia Uva, Marie LoRusso, Frances Heckel, brother Frederick (Marisa) Fragomeli, sister-in-law Marcella Fragomeli and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Joseph and John "Jackie" Fragomeli.
A gathering will take place on Monday, February 6th at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home from 2 pm - 5 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
