Thomas "Tom" Allen Rowe passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 in Jupiter Farms, FL at the age of 68. Tom was born October 13, 1948 in Garden City, Kansas, to Sonny and Shirley Rowe. After attending college in Kansas and serving his country in the US Army, Tom moved to Miami, FL to attend photography school. After several years as a photographer he decided to take his career in a new direction by serving his community as Miami Beach firefighter. While in Miami, he met the love of his life Beth. In 1994 they moved to Jupiter Farms, FL where he continued as a Miami Beach firefighter until his retirement. After which he spent his days enjoying classic cars, Nascar, wood-working, music, and spending time with his family. Tom"s roots were always in Garden City, Kansas, where his childhood friendships began and continue to this day. Tom has always been the "rock" of his extended and blended family because of his strength of character, sense of humor and his compassionate and loving spirit. A hard-working, loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. Tom is survived by his beloved wife Beth; sons Tony Rowe and Seth Rowe (Katie); step-children Jennifer Young (Ben), Julie Yessman (Tommy), and Billy Green (Janet); grandchildren Nathaniel Rowe, Maddison Rowe, Danielle, Emily and Ben Young, Gracie and Emma Yessman; sisters Candy Downer (Keith) and Shelley Zerr (Steve) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Sonny and Shirley Rowe and sister Barbara Ellen. A celebration of his life is scheduled for 11am Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at Taylor Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter, FL 33458, (561) 744-2030. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Dr. James Harris and the staff of Florida Cancer Specialists for their care and dedication.
