Susannah Taxis Carr, born October 8, 1943, passed away October 19, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. She was instrumental in the tying of the yellow ribbon around the Jupiter Lighthouse during the Gulf War, and in the creation of Constitution Park in Tequesta. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her daughter Lauren, her son Eric, and her grandson John. Services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at Riverside Memorial Park. Causual attire is requested –shirt and shorts- just as she liked to be. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Loxahatchee River Historical Society, as she loved this place so.
