Robia Chastaine Malam, age 53, of Jupiter, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 9, 2016. Through Robia, all of our lives were touched in a special and personal way. She was always the champion of the underdog, never afraid to take on a challenge for what was right. She made EVERYONE feel accepted for who they were and not what society expected them to be. She loved unconditionally and loved with all of her heart. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives here on earth, even if it was for just a short time. We should all take comfort in knowing that she is a Guardian Angel to each and every one of us. Robia is survived by her husband, Curt and their two children, Sierra and Joshua, as well as her parents, Judy and Gerald Grainger, her sisters, Amy (Harold) Shader and Melissa (Russell) Krautheim , sister-in-law Carri (Luke) Wilson, along with nephews and nieces, Harold Jr., Warren, Isabelle, Gabrielle and Michael. Additionally, she is survived by her father-in-laws, George Wilson and Terry Malam. Services will be held at the Pell City First United Methodist Church in Pell City, Alabama on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 3 p.m Donations to the Compass LGBT Community Center in Palm Beach County, Florida are appreciated.
