Robert J. Brown entered into eternal life on March 26, 2017 following a brief illness. Mr. Brown was a retired engineer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in West Palm Beach having worked there for 35years.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian, Fl. where he served as an Elder for 6 years and was chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee and co chairman of the Thrift Shop. Mr. Brown was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge of Jupiter having served as Master of the Lodge in 2004. He was currently a dual member of Sebastian Lodge #204. He was a member of Azan Shrine in Melbourne, Fl. and was serving as Secretary/Treasurer of the Sebastian Shrine Club at the time of his death. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in both Jupiter and Sebastian and served as Worthy Patron many times in both chapters. He was a Past Royal Patron of Ida E. Banks Court #51, Order of the Amaranth and Past Watchman of Shepherds of Judea Shrine #14, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. His work at church and the Masonic organizations was the main focus of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris, three sons, Michael (Sandy) of Palm Beach Gardens, Curtis (Sharon) of Littleton, Co. and Jeffrey (Kimberly) of Jupiter; four Grandchildren, Savannah and Calla,of Jupiter and Karina and Kade of Littleton, Co.Sisters in Law, Judy Meng (William), Margaret Bachus (Edward) and Karen Pike (Stephen) and Brother in Law Harry Mennel (Lynne).
Burial services are private but a memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian will be held at a later date.
