Jerome M. Gray, Okeechobee,FL passed away on February 18,2017. Jerome is survived by
his wife of over 60 years, Irene Keesecker Gray.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, John "Sam" Gray and Louise Merry Gray;son, Jerome M. Gray Jr."Bubba";
and brother, Grafton Gray.

Jerome had spent most of his life in the West Palm Beach area until retirement then moved to Okeechobee, FL.

Jerome served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict and returned to Palm beach County to work for the Fire Department while continuing his education.
He became a school counselor in Palm Beach County and continued to enjoy working with students, parents, excellent principals, and teachers until his retirement.

He enjoyed traveling extensively all over the U.S. in a Motorhome with Irene especially the trip to Alaska. He was a serious hunter and an avid fisherman and
shared these with "Bubba" and friends. Jerome prepared a wonderful "snook salad".

He was a member of Northwood Baptist Church for many years.

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Thursday, February 23 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home , 250 Center Street, Jupiter,Florida.
A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum , 1100 7th Street Erwin,TN on Sunday February 26 at 3:00 PM.
Robert Ledford Funeral home in Erwin,TN will be serving the Gray/Keesecker Family.
