Dwayne Charles Cooper was born to Bobby and Gale Cooper on July 13, 1973. He was blessed with his brother Jeffrey on Aug. 8, 1977 and his sister Denise on Nov. 7th, 1979. He was raised and lived with his family in North Lauderdale, Fl for over 25 years before moving to Jupiter, Fl in 2003, where he resided until his passing. Dwayne was a part of both baseball and soccer programs but soccer was the sport he loved to play the most and accelled in. He went on to play soccer for his high school, Coconut Creek High School. He graduated in 1991. After High School he went to a 5 year apprenticeship program and became a Union Electrician. While growing up in North Lauderdale, Dwayne had many friends and was a member of the Boys Club of North Lauderdale. Many of those friends he still periodically kept in touch with. Dwayne and his family were and are lucky enough to still have kept in touch with old neighbors and friends from the street we lived on in North Lauderdale, on Merion Place. On October 20, 2006 Dwayne became a father to the most beautiful little girl, Mia Carmen Cooper. She was the light of his life and he was fortunate enough to be a stay at home dad raising his daughter for 3 years. His enormous and undying love for his daughter was apparent from the moment she was born. He was an amazing uncle to Rj, Kyle, Joshua and Kassidy and was preceded in death by his nephew Adrian Cooper. He was especially close to his nephew RJ, who he thought of as the son he never had and always included him in sporting events and activities. He was a die hard Dolphins fan, UM fan, Heat fan and many many more. Dwayne also loved animals, especially his dogs. He treated them as if they were his children and took in any stray or unwanted pet, which shows the enormous, giving, and loving heart he had. He was so loved by his daughter, his parents and his brother and sister, his former wife Sandra, his step children Jose Regueiro, Christian (Rachelle) Regueiro, Sandra Lee (Jimmy Lee) and Amanda (Carlos) Regueiro, step grandchildren Adrian Lee, Christian Regueiro and Aleena Regueiro and countless other family and friends. He will forever be missed and never forgotten. We love you SO much Dwayne!
