Bible Emblem

Our beloved David John Loveland relocated to heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 14, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Loveland Gourley, who welcomed him with open arms. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 48 wonderful years, Carol Timmerman Loveland and his children, Robyn Loveland Jones, Daniel Joshua Loveland (Jennifer ), and Jamie Loveland Rogers (Stephen) and his 10 grandchildren whom he adored, Maxwell David, Brenan Daniel and Miles Robert Jones, Madeline Brooke and Parker James Gourley, Wyatt Randall and Clint Walker Loveland, and Elizabeth Kelly, Levi John and Lane David Rogers. David was born on March 1, 1947 to Nelson and Jane Loveland and has 5 siblings, Daniel Loveland(Cindy), Mayda Tress, Jeffrey Loveland(Gloria), Robert Loveland (Jan) and Randall Loveland (Marjie) and many nieces and nephews. David owned Gilmore Electric Co for 31 years and loved and valued his employees dearly. He was a man of integrity. He touched many lives with his huge heart and we are grateful for the lessons he taught us on giving. David will always be remembered for his deep love for God and his family and friends. He loved orphans and was dedicated to helping less fortunate people around the world. He was a board member of World Help, a humanitarian organization, and was passionate about every aspect of the ministry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to World Help to benefit Kelly's House , a house for special needs children that was built in memory of his daughter. Please send to P.O. Box 501. Forest, VA 2455 and specify Kelly's House in the memo line. A Celebration Service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Christ Fellowship north campus at 2:00 P.M.
