Carmela Raciti Stramondo, age 98 residing at Brookdale Assisted Living Community, Palm Beach Gardens, passed away at the Heartland Skilled Nursing facility on December 18th, 2016, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Carmela is survived by two her two Son's Anthony, (Sandra)Stramondo, of Jupiter, FL. And James (Beverly) Stramondo of Naples, FL. Three Grandchildren, Anthony Jr. of Jupiter, FL, Kristin Wachsmuth of Mora, MN, and Parker Lane of Tucson, AZ. And one sister, Ann Harb of Methuen MA.
Carmela, was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Antonio Stramondo in 2006, her parents Vincenzo & Rosa Raciti, one Brother, Roland Raciti, Sisters, Katherine Siragusa, Agatha Contarino, Angelina Vickers.
The visitation/wake will be held at the Taylor Modeen funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL 33458, January 3rd from 2-4Jpm & 6 -8 pm. Services will be held January 4th at St. Jude's Catholic church Hwy 1 N. Tequesta FL 33458 Gravesite burial services will be at the Riverside Memorial Cemetery directly after the service at St. Judes.
Carmela spent most of her life in Methuen MA, where she was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic church, where she made rosary beads for the church & other catholic organizations, until she and Angelo moved to Jupiter, FL to be near their Son's and grandchildren in 1996. They resided at Jupiter inlet Condo community where Carmela was a water aerobics instructor until she was 95 and moved to Brookdale living community in Palm Beach Gardens, in 2014
