Anthony Boswell Coby, born June 26, 1935, to Maud May Coby and John Boswell, in Norwich, England, and survived by his sister, Mary Coby Watts, in Norwich, died in Jupiter, Florida on March 22, 2017, and went to rest with his professed savior, Jesus Christ.
After serving in the British merchant marine, Tony came to the United States as a merchant seaman early in his life. He served in the United States Air Force, and thereafter diligently worked and obtained a license as a Captain of vessels weighing up to 1600 tons, as well as attaining an aviation pilot's license. Throughout his lifetime he captained and maintained large yachts, and piloted private airplanes. Always available with a ready smile, a quick sense of humor, and a charitable disposition, he was loved and respected by all.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at Taylor- Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL 33458. Friends will be received from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, P.O. Box 96105, Washington, D.C. 20090-6105, or the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 789, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
